And on another note...
Ok, lets see here. Its been awhile since my last actual post. Well, I've been in my new place for four months now, and no disasters have struck yet, so hopefully things will keep up the same way they have been around here. I finally got a job, I'm going to be working for Sitel, who does customer service and warranty support for GM (General Motors)! The pay is excellent, great hours and well who can scoff at being qualified for full time benifits at a minimum of 30 hours a week with a max of 40+? I start on thursday at the godawful time of 6am but hopefully that won't become my shift, cause well that would suck :P Anyway, just been going out with friends to either The Dublin on Tuesdays for karaoke, or Macguffy's on Friday/Saturday and having a good time. Been getting back in touch with a lot of my friends lately, from rocky and elsewhere and a good friend of mine is coming up this week to hang around beaverton for the day so I'm looking forward to that...not much else to report but hope everyone is well, and hey! I'm working on getting my license finally so maybe with this new job I can save up and get a car! that would be a fucking miracle! :P Anyways, Talk to you all later and be sure to take a shot for HST. Ok...Rant Time
Alright ladies and degenerates, lets get down to business. Tonight I met up with two of my new roomates and we went out to Sherries for a few hours. We talked about a lot of different things, including basically analizing each other and finding out what the positives and negatives of each of us was as seen by each other...It was a very revealing conversation, let me tell you. We figured out that there are many different types of people who try to validate who they are through different ways: People who validate themselves through others i.e. their friends, etc... People who validate themselves through sleeping with people whether the person is their significant other, a friend or some random person they picked up at the bar or Starbucks... People who validate themselves through helping others... People who validate themselves through emulating others and their actions, possibly even through sleeping with people that those others slept with... And of course the one that I found particularly suited for things that have been going on around me lately: People who validate themselves by talking trash and insulting people they call friends when said friend is not there to defend themselves Honestly, I made a post about this last one awhile ago and well, this kind of crap is still going on, no matter if I try to help someone out by letting them stay in my extra room, or if they just feel the need to spread rumours and bullshit so they can validate themselves. Come on people, I'm seeing this shit go on at Starbucks, at Rocky, and many other places, and I'll say once again: I THOUGHT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO LEAVE THIS FUCKING DRAMA AND BACKSTABBING TWO FACED BULLSHIT BACK IN HIGH SCHOOL, PEOPLE!!!!! Jesus Christ...I mean come on! Now some of the people that this pertains to are still in some sort of schooling, whether it be high school or college, but seriously, be more grown up than the rest of your "friends". If you have a fucking problem with someone, FUCKING TALK TO THAT PERSON YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH, AND ONLY THAT PERSON, AND GET IT SORTED THE FUCK OUT!!! The only thing that happens when you spread rumours and drama and lies is more drama, and I think we can all deal with a whole lot less of that in all of our lives, unless you for some fucked up reason see that as a way of validating who you are... If this is the case, please find other people who do the same, pull that shit on them and continue on with your lives, knowing full well that you have surrounded youself with people that are just like you and will be nice to your face but insult you every chance they get when your back is turned, but I'm sure you won't notice since you'll be doing the exact same thing to them. So anyway, blarg....
